Coaching isn't consulting, mentoring, or therapy, but it's related to all of those fields. The main difference is that in those relationships you're often seeking top-down advice. My expertise is in building meaningful coaching relationships on eye-level. I won't have ready-made answers for you. Instead, I will ask inspiring and/or challenging questions that you must answer to be successful. Based on my leadership experience and my academic training as an executive coach, I work with you to help you discover the solutions that are right for you.
How does coaching work?
First, we schedule a free 30-minute chemistry chat, and you and I will get to know each other & decide whether we want to work with each other. If we decide to collaborate, and I have a clear understanding of your needs, I develop a coaching strategy with objective key outcomes and success criteria that can be measured through feedback. Then, we'll contract for the appropriate number of 90-minute sessions that we'll schedule either monthly or bi-monthly.

Leadership sparring is for executives who are looking for an intensive and unbiased discussion. When I spar with leaders, I use coaching techniques, but intensively challenge and collaborate with them, to bounce off an idea, improve a concept, or develop a strategy that would otherwise not have been created by the leader alone.
Because, let's be honest, leading at the top is lonely. There are topics and issues that you may not want to spar with your directs, colleagues or superiors. This is where I come in. I have extensive experience in anything that is related to media & communications as well as topics around diversity & inclusion, sustainability, female leadership, digital leadership., and team topics.
